Overseas Warehouse Forklift Receiving Process

Arrival & Verification – The inbound shipment arrives at the warehouse, and documents (BOL, packing list) are checked.

Docking & Unloading – The truck is positioned at the dock, and forklifts unload pallets from the container.

Initial Inspection – Check for visible damages, missing items, or discrepancies in the shipment.

Barcode Scanning & System Entry – Scan pallet barcodes and update the warehouse management system (WMS).

Sorting & Palletizing – Organize goods based on SKU, destination, or storage requirements.

Storage Allocation – Assign storage locations in the warehouse according to inventory strategy.

Forklift Transport – Move pallets to designated storage racks or staging areas.

Final Inspection & Confirmation – Verify item accuracy and update stock levels in WMS.

Report & Documentation – Generate receiving reports and notify relevant departments.
